Funk in the City is a bi-annual event that features artists from around the region and multiple states. This is a great opportunity to support artists and the art community. In addition to the amazing artist and artisans, there will also be fabulous food vendors to satisfy your hunger.

First Fridays are held the first Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., from April - September. Enjoy art, live music, beautiful architecture, street performers, delicious food, and drink as you peruse through art galleries, historic buildings, and unique boutique and retail spaces.

Enjoy live music, food trucks, and late swimming hours at Howell and Lorraine Pools on different dates during the summer at Music in the Park. Bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs and enjoy this free event.

ParksFest is a free, all-day, music festival in Evansville’s Garvin Park. Activities include musical performances, bounce houses, children’s inflatables, food vendors, art vendors, and more. ParksFest is an environment for anyone to come and have a great time no matter your age or background.

The University of Evansville’s Clay Club annually hosts a chili bowl sale during the fall semester on campus. People all over campus and the community come to enjoy delicious chili, and they get to take home one-of-a-kind bowls made by current UE students while supporting a good cause.

The annual W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival is set to blow Blues Lovers away! We have an incredible lineup for you at the greatest blues venue you will ever see – Audubon Mill Park on the Ohio River in Henderson, Kentucky. It all kicks off mid-June! Go ahead, check out the event schedule and mark your calendar for when Henderson will be the center of the Blues universe!

The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival attracts over 200,000 people to the west side of Evansville and is considered to be one of the largest street festivals in the United States. The festival is held the first full week in October.
