Funk in the City
Funk in the city is a bi-annual event that features artists from around the region and multiple states. This is a great opportunity to support artists and the art community. In addition to the amazing artist and artisans, there will also be fabulous food vendors to satisfy your hunger.
Haynie’s Corner Arts District First Fridays
First Fridays are held the first Friday of each month from 6 PM – 9 PM, from April – September. Enjoy art, live music, beautiful architecture, street performers, delicious food, and drink as you peruse through art galleries, historic buildings, and unique boutique and retail spaces.
Movie Night in the Park
Bring a picnic and enjoy a movie on the beautiful West Branch Library Lawn. A different movie is featured once a month and it is a good way to spend family/friend time for free! Movies begin at dusk every 3rd Saturday, April – September.
Music in the Park
Enjoy live music, food trucks, and late swimming hours at Howell and Lorraine Pools on different dates during the summer. Bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs and enjoy this free event.
ParksFest
ParksFest is a free, all-day, music festival in Evansville’s Garvin Park. Activities include musical performances, bounce houses, children’s inflatables, food vendors, art vendors, and more. ParksFest is an environment for anyone to come and have a great time no matter your age or background.
Shriner’s Fest
ShrinersFest features a wide variety of attractions the entire family will enjoy! With entertainment in the air, on the ground, and on the water, this year's festival features something for everyone. Our festival lineup varies each day, so be sure to check the schedule page for the most up-to-date showtimes and locations.
University of Evansville’s Chili Bowl Festival
The University of Evansville’s Clay Club annually hosts a chili bowl sale during the fall semester on campus. People all over campus and the community come to enjoy delicious chili, and they get to take home one-of-a-kind bowls made by current UE students while supporting a good cause.
W.C. Handy Blues Festival
The annual W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival is set to blow Blues Lovers away! We have an incredible lineup for you at the greatest blues venue you will ever see – Audubon Mill Park on the Ohio River in Henderson, Kentucky. It all kicks off mid-June! Go ahead, check out the event schedule and mark your calendar for when Henderson will be the center of the Blues universe!
West Side Nut Club Fall Festival
This event attracts over 200,000 people to the west side of Evansville and is considered to be one of the largest street festivals in the United States. The festival is held the first full week in October.
