Student Organizations

There are two student organizations specific to the Computer Engineering program. Students are encouraged to get involved with these organizations while at UE.

Association of Computing Machinery (ACM)

The University's chapter of ACM is an educational and scientific computing society. The chapter sponsors events, projects, and special guest speakers throughout the year.

Eta Kappa Nu

A scholastic honors society, Eta Kappa Nu was developed to encourage and recognize “excellence in the IEEE-designated fields of interest,” which include engineering, computer sciences and information technology, physical sciences, biological and medical sciences, mathematics, technical communications, education, management, law, and policy. The organization offers numerous award programs to promote educational excellence.
