Introduction

With the ethics and social change major at UE, you'll take the concepts you learn in the classroom and apply them to solve social problems in the community through experiential learning. Students who major in ethics and social change imagine a better world and get to work to make it happen.

The ethics and social change major embodies the University of Evansville mission by empowering each student to think critically about complex problems, act bravely for a more just, prosperous, and sustainable world, serve responsibly, and to live meaningfully in a world they strive to improve.

Ethics and social change is a changemaking major on a campus dedicated to making positive change. UE is part of the Ashoka U Changemaker Campus Network – a dynamic, global network of leading colleges and universities who set the bar for social innovation in higher education. The network includes fewer than 50 colleges and universities from around the world.
