Kyle Kiesel, University of Evansville professor and chair of physical therapy, has been published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. His article is titled “Development of a Screening protocol to Identify Individuals with Dysfunctional Breathing.”

This was the first study to attempt to apply simply clinical measurements to screen for those with breathing problems. His co-authors include Robert Butler, PT, PhD, and UE DPT alumni Tonya Rhodes, Jacob Mueller, Alyssa Waninger, who were students at the time of data collection. This work was supported by the UE Ridgway Fund.
