Matthew Hummel to be Speaker at UE Andiron Lecture on October 7

Matthew Hummel, University of Evansville alum and paralegal for the Vanderburgh County Public Defender Agency, will be the guest speaker for UE’s October 7 Andiron Lecture. His topic will be “The Antithesis of Justice.” The event starts at 4 p.m., in Room 252 in Eykamp Hall, in Ridgway University Center, on UE’s campus. A social hour precedes the event at 3:45 p.m.

? December 2: “Evansville on the Ohio” – Thomas Lonnberg, curator of history at the Evansville Museum of Arts

? March 2: “The Hunt for Dark Matter” - Angela Reisetter, UE assistant professor of physics

? April 13: “The Prophets of Penzance: The Wesleys Take Cornwall and Bristol (and They’re Probably Way Cooler than You Thought” – Mitch Gieselman, UE alum and pastor at Aldersgate United Methodist Church
