Evansville Museum Curator of History to Speak at UE Andiron Lecture

Thomas Lonnberg, curator of history at the Evansville Museum of Arts, will be the guest speaker for the University of Evansville Andiron Lecture on Wednesday, December 2. His topic will be “Evansville on the Ohio.” The event will begin at 4:00 p.m., in Room 252, Eykamp Hall, in Ridgway University Center, with a social hour at 3:45 p.m. All the Andiron lectures are free and open to the public.

? February 3: “Emotional Responsibility and Teaching Ethics: Student Empowerment” – Lisa Kretz, UE assistant professor of philosophy

? March 2: “The Hunt for Dark Matter” - Angela Reisetter, UE assistant professor of physics

? April 13: “The Prophets of Penzance: The Wesleys Take Cornwall and Bristol (and They’re Probably Way Cooler than You Thought” – Mitch Gieselman, UE alum and pastor at Aldersgate United Methodist Church
