The Collegiate Changemaker Challenge results have been announced. First place was a tie between Andrea Onyett and Hannah Jaramillo for their presentation “Solar Innovators” and Bushara Ahmed for her presentation, “Food Waste Project.”

The first place winners will receive a trip to a social innovation conference in Konstanz, Germany.

Second place was won by John East for his presentation, “Residential Revolution.” The second place prize is $1,000

Third place was won by Kendra Mehling and Kristen Fowler for their presentation, “Scholars for Syria.” The third place prize is $500.

The next Changemaker Challenge is planned for this fall.
