Eligibility: All first-year faculty

Requirements: 

• Engage in 12 ECTE sponsored events across the academic year

Example Events:

• New Faculty Orientation
• Semester Kick-Off events
• Individual mentoring meetings
• Weekly new faculty meetings
• Join an ECTE faculty interest group
• ECTE book group meetings
• Complete a Mid-semester Interview on Teaching (MITs)
• Monthly lectures on teaching and pedagogy topics
• Attend or present at teaching conferences

Teaching Development Certificate

Requirements:

• Engage in 8 ECTE sponsored events across the academic year

Example Events:

• Monthly lectures on teaching and pedagogy topics
• Semester Kick-Off events
• Join an ECTE faculty interest group
• ECTE book group meetings
• Attend or present at teaching conferences
• Complete a Mid-semester Interview on Teaching (MITs)
• Complete a class observation and write-up
