Harlaxton Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist

The University of Evansville (UE) seeks an outgoing, creative, and enthusiastic Harlaxton Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist to oversee the admissions and enrollment process for Harlaxton College, UE’s study abroad campus in England. In this position, you will assist in marketing Harlaxton to students from UE and partner institutions across the US, promoting Harlaxton as a unique and transformational experience. As the first point of contact for students from UE and from partner institutions across the US, you will guide students through all phases of the admissions and enrollment process by answering questions, managing applications, and overseeing deposits, working closely with colleagues at UE and Harlaxton.

This full-time position is based at UE, with travel to Harlaxton annually and the potential for occasional travel to partner schools in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment plans to bring students from UE and partner institutions to Harlaxton
  • Deliver engaging presentations to students showcasing the Harlaxton experience
  • Provide input in developing marketing materials for Harlaxton
  • Utilize social media to further Harlaxton’s online presence
  • Communicate with students throughout the recruitment cycle to answer questions about Harlaxton 
  • Guide students through the application and registration process
  • Work with student records in Slate
  • Work closely with the onsite Harlaxton team to coordinate efforts
  • Assist students with tuition and financial aid information
  • Assess recruitment efforts and engage in data-driven decision making 
  • Establish an annual budget for Harlaxton recruitment efforts
  • Assist the Dean in establishing summer courses based on enrollment

Required Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and public speaking skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong technology skills across multiple platforms; ability to use data to determine performance success.
  • Ability to travel overseas approximately once each year, with the potential for occasional travel to partner institutions in the US

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Slate or a similar CRM
  • Prior experience with the Admissions process or experience in a similar role involving marketing and/or sales within education
  • Experience working within higher education, preferably in admissions/enrollment
  • Prior knowledge of study abroad programs, via personal experience or prior work experience

This position requires in-office presence on the UE campus, with the possibility of occasional remote work. In this position, you will keep regular weekday hours with occasional evening or weekend hours and travel.
