Visiting Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management

The Schroeder Family School of Business Administration at the University of Evansville (UE) invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management, beginning August 3, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

The Visiting Assistant Professor supports our undergraduate curriculum through a blend of rigorous instruction and scholarly engagement. Your main duties will include:

  • Instructional Excellence: Teach undergraduate courses in business analytics, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Scholarly Activity: Develop and maintain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications.
  • Student Mentorship: Advise and mentor students, including fostering opportunities for collaborative research and co-curricular engagement.
  • Institutional Service: Contribute to the department, school, and university levels through active committee participation and service activities.
  • Academic Citizenship: Help foster a positive, collegial, and inclusive environment within the School of Business.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Ph.D. or ABD in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, or a closely related field from an AACSB or EQUIS-accredited institution.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster an engaging learning environment.
  • Mentorship: A demonstrated commitment to student success through advising and collaborative work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Instructional Breadth: Teaching experience across multiple management areas, such as business strategy, operations, and project management.
  • Pedagogical Innovation: Ability to integrate cutting-edge teaching methods and data technologies into the classroom.
  • Research Potential: A proven record of scholarly productivity or strong evidence of research potential.
