The Enduring Foundations General Education Program consists of 11 Outcome Requirements and the Writing Across the Curriculum (Overlay E) Requirement
Core Outcomes
These 11 outcomes represent the strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences that is central to a UE education. Students may complete one General Education outcome course within their major, in addition to the capstone course for the major.

Writing Across the Curriculum (Overlay E) Requirement
All Writing Across the Curriculum (Overlay E) courses must be completed at UE; transfer courses will not count towards this requirement.
Students must take four courses in this area, and may meet this requirement with General Education outcome courses, major or minor courses, and/or electives.
