Applying for On-Campus Housing in Spring
2026-2027 Year - Your residential journey begins here!
All Students (both returning and new/transfer)
Please read all information below regarding the application process for returning students at the University of Evansville for the Spring 2027 semester. For a simplified list of important dates, please see our Calendar section.
All housing assignments for returning students are determined by submission time and completed credits. Students with higher completed credit hours will be considered for their first housing preference. All housing options are limited by set credit ranges. Students must be within this range to be eligible to reside in their selected location by January 1. To apply, students must meet the minimum completed amounts of credits listed below.
- All Standard Residence Halls: No credit limits
- New Hall: No minimum limit, maximum 60 credits (maximum 45 completed credits at time of application)
- Jones Hall: Minimum 30 credits, no maximum limit (minimum 15 completed credits at time of application)
- Lincoln Commons/Townhouses: Minimum 60 credits, no maximum limit (minimum 45 completed credits at time of application)
For full room and board rates, please visit the Student Financial Services area.
Housing applications go live on October 1 in your eRezLife account. All students are required to submit a $75 non-refundable housing registration fee at the end of the housing application. Applications will not be completed until this fee is paid.
After you have submitted a housing application, form roommate groups in eRezLife (roommates will need to have a completed application and accept your roommate group invitation). Rooms will be assigned to complete roommate groups when applicable.
If you do not have a roommate group before the application deadline, The Office of Residence Life may assign you to a roommate group based on housing location preference. The Office of Residence Life utilizes your roommate preference options and assigns students based on compatibility of both roommate preferences and housing preferences.
Housing applications are due by October 23. Failure to submit a housing application by October 23 may result in delayed and limited options for housing. Room assignments will be sent out on Friday, October 30.
Students must have submitted all required materials to be assigned housing. Required materials include a completed application and housing registration fee.
The University reserves the right to make or change assignments, assign a new roommate, or consolidate spaces at any point in the academic year based on the needs of the program.
