To determine your eligibility for the program, please review the criteria below. Eligible students must:

• Be a current University of Evansville student pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident.

Do I Qualify for TRIO?

Federal law regulates qualifications for the TRIO SSS Program. You are eligible if you demonstrate a need for academic support and meet one of the following criteria:

• First Generation Student
  Your parents or single parent has not earned a bachelor’s degree.
• Income Eligible
  Your parents' or single parent’s taxable income does not exceed the level established by the US Department of Education for family size.
• Documented Disability
  You have a documented disability (you will need to provide documentation with our Director of Disability Services).

How to Apply

Applying is simple and takes just a few minutes.

1. Download the TRIO SSS Program Application.
2. Submit your competed application to triosss@evansville.edu.
3. Once you submit your application, be sure to check your UE email regularly for updates.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Once accepted, you can be part of TRIO during your time at UE.
