Eligibility

To determine your eligibility for the program, please review the criteria below. Eligible students must:

  • Be pursuing a college degree, and
  • Be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident.

You may qualify for services if one or more of the following applies to you:

  • You are a first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a college degree).
  • You have limited income and are eligible for Pell Grants and other need-based financial aid.
  • You have a documented disability.

How to Apply

Applying is simple and takes just a few minutes.

  1. Download the TRIO SSS Program Application.
  2. Complete and submit the application to Student Financial Services at studentfinancialservices@evansville.edu.
  3. Once you submit your application, be sure to check your UE email regularly for messages from Student Financial Services or Disability Services with next steps through January 30, 2026.
