Indiana Employment Network

The Indiana Employment Network promotes paid internships and professional employment of UE graduates within the state. As a part on an increased emphasis in quality recruitment relationships, the Center for Career Development seeks ongoing employer commitments to hire UE interns/co-ops and to offer employment opportunities after graduation. The Center for Career Development aspires to build relationships with Indiana companies who will serve as partners in the development of internship and employment opportunities for students and institutional advancement for the University.

This expanded relationship is focused on results:

  • Indiana employers will commit to hire at least one paid UE intern per calendar year and to list all relevant employment opportunities with UE’s Center for Career Development in a letter sent to the Center for Career Development.
  • All opportunities to recruit UE students and alumni on or off campus with information sessions/tables, interview schedules, open houses, tours and receptions.
  • Participating Indiana employers will be offered free registration to any UE Career Fair Event, discounted ads in the UE Career Guide, preferred placement on UE’s Career Development webpage, one month Employer Showcase in UE’s Ridgway University Center Student Life bulletin board, and an employment-needs assessment with UE’s Director of Employer Development, who will connect employer needs to UE majors and academic departments.

The University is committed to the intentional development of employment and experiential education growth in its economic region and Indiana. Please direct all inquiries to the Center for Career Development Employer Relationship Team:
