Eykamp Hall

Eykamp Hall is a perfect space for banquets, plenary sessions, or lectures. Eykamp Hall can accommodate up to 485 people in theater seating. Additionally, Eykamp Hall may be broken up into five separate spaces:

Eykamp Room 251

Equipped with a stage, stage lighting, drop-down screen, house sound system, and ceiling-mounted projector. This space can accommodate up to 200 people in theater seating.

Eykamp Room 252

Equipped with a drop-down screen, ceiling-mounted projector, and house sound system. This space can accommodate up to 150 people in theater seating.

Eykamp Room 253, 254, 255

Each space is equipped with a drop-down screen, ceiling-mounted projector, and house sound system. Each space can accommodate up to 30 people in theater seating.

Smythe Lecture Hall

Smythe Lecture Hall is located in the modern Schroeder School of Business building. This space can accommodate up to 123 people in tiered classroom seating. Smythe Lecture Hall is equipped with a house sound system, drop-down screen, ceiling-mounted projector, and whiteboard.

Shanklin Theatre

Shanklin Theatre can accommodate up to 482 people surrounding a thrust stage. This space is equipped with stage lighting and a house sound system. The ticket office, dressing rooms, and studio theatre may also be requested for use when renting the main theatre, (pending availability). Please note that during the academic year, Shanklin Theatre is frequently used for productions and set-up for productions.

Wheeler Concert Hall

Wheeler Concert Hall can accommodate up to 247 people and is equipped with stage lighting, a house sound system, drop-down screen, and a ceiling-mounted projector.

SOBA Atrium

The Atrium is a stunning, open space located in the Schroeder School of Business. The Atrium can be used for small receptions and banquet functions during non-academic hours.

Classroom Space

The University of Evansville has classroom space that can accommodate anywhere from 12-158 people. Please contact the Coordinator of Special Events and Guest Services, or submit a Reservation Request Form to inquire about availability.

Computer Labs

We offer computer labs that can accommodate anywhere between 20-40 people. Please contact the Coordinator of Special Events and Guest Services, or complete a submit a Reservation Request Form to inquire about availability.
