Internships
Kerry Laswell
Class of 2012 graduate Kerry Laswell talks about how her UE education prepared her for a career in professional chemistry.
Chemistry students at UE have several options for gaining real-world experience during their time in the program. Many take advantage of our cooperative education program, which alternates semesters of classes with semesters of paid employment, allowing students to integrate classroom theory with practical work experience. Others earn credit for internships with companies across Evansville and around the world, including:
- Mead Johnson Nutrition
- SABIC Innovative Plastics
- Red Spot Paint
- Grain Processing Corporation
- RISE Internship Program, Germany
