Program Admission

To apply to for the PsyD in Clinical Psychology program, please complete the University of Evansville graduate application. Once your application has been submitted, upload the following materials to the UE Admission Portal or email them to admission@evansville.edu.

  1. Official transcripts
  2. Curriculum vitae or resume
  3. Personal statement
  4. Diversity statement
  5. Three letters of reference

Official Transcripts may be submitted via Parchment, SCOIR, or the National Student Clearinghouse.

The personal statement should be no longer than four pages, double-spaced, in which you describe your interest in clinical psychology and career goals.

The diversity statement should be double-spaced and limited to four pages with one inch margins top, bottom and sides, and in 12-point type, in which you explain what diversity means to you and its importance in the practice of clinical psychology.

The minimum requirements for admission include:

  1. An overall undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
  2. A bachelor's degree in psychology or a closely-related field; OR
  3. If your bachelor’s degree is unrelated to psychology, your application will be considered if you have a grade equivalent of at least a “B” in Introductory Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Introduction to Statistics or Research Methods
    • Alternatively, you could take the Psychology Test of the GRE and a score of at least 650 would satisfy this requirement

Exceptions to the minimum requirements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
