Students have the opportunity to enroll in two different summer classes offered alternate years at Harlaxton College. Both classes are five-week sessions, and open to all UE students. They can also both be used to fulfill EXSS major requirements.

• The "Sport Psychology and the London Olympics" course - Students visit sites such as the British Olympic Training Center at the Loughborough University, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club stadium (and see a game), Wimbledon Tennis Stadium, Olympic Stadium in London and Coventry Soccer Stadium.
• The Cardiac Rehabilitation course - Students visit various hospitals around Grantham and compare British and American health care.
