Dr. Braun is an alumna of the University of Evansville, where she earned her BA in Philosophy ('99). She went on to receive her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, in 2016. Before joining the Clinic, Dr. Braun served in state hospital clinical leadership, where she worked alongside treatment teams to deliver compassionate, effective care to some of the state's most vulnerable individuals. Dr. Braun is passionate about the Clinic's vital role in the community, fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families can find the care and resources they need to thrive.

Katherine Hulsey

Ms. Katherine Hulsey, MPAS, PA-C

Physician Assistant and Clinical Instructor

Katherine Hulsey is a UE alumna and graduated with a BS in biology in 2017. In 2021, she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana State University. Prior to joining UE’s PA program, she practiced in an inpatient addiction and mental health treatment facility. She has also practiced in long term care facilities, providing psychiatric care for the geriatric population and individuals with psychotic disorders and intellectual disabilities. Katherine practices at the UE Mental Health and Wellness Clinic & Emily M. Young Assessment Center. In addition to her clinical practice, she will serve as a preceptor and lecturer for the program.

Lindsay Williams

Clinic Coordinator

Lindsay Williams, a native of Evansville and a United States Navy veteran, serves as the Clinic Coordinator at the University of Evansville’s Mental Health and Wellness Clinic and Emily M. Young Assessment Center. She began her career in healthcare in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing a strong sense of purpose and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.

Lindsay oversees the clinic’s day-to-day operations, including billing and accounting, client relations, and a wide range of administrative tasks that ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. She holds an Associate of Science in Social Sciences from Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Virginia, graduating in 2018.

As a proven leader and advocate for accessible care, Lindsay is committed to creating a welcoming, well-organized environment for both clients and staff.
