Scholarships for Doctor of Physical Therapy
In both the 3+3 and the 4+3 models UE students entering the graduate-level DPT program in the summer of 2021 will continue to receive their primary UE merit-based scholarship (year-4 value) through their graduate program, as long as all renewal criteria are met.
UE students who do not immediately progress into the graduate portion of the DPT program following completion of their undergraduate degree will be awarded as a second degree-seeking student.
Students who have completed a bachelor's degree at another university and are admitted into the graduate level of the DPT program in the summer of 2021 will be under the new Flat-Rate-Tuition model of $12,000 per semester for 9 semesters and are not eligible for UE scholarships but will have graduate-level federal loan eligibility available.
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov including UE’s school code (001795) to establish eligibility for both the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan and Federal Graduate PLUS Loan during the graduate portion of the program. Detailed information will be emailed regarding FAFSA submission and utilization of loan funds.
