Scholarships for Doctor of Physical Therapy

  • UE DE students entering the graduate-level DPT program in Summer 2026
    • In both the 3+3 and the 4+3 models, UE Direct-Entry students entering the graduate-level DPT program in the summer of 2026 will receive the annual UE Loyal Aces Graduate Scholarship beginning in fall 2026 (excludes summer terms).
    • For students entering the graduate level of the DPT program in the summer of 2026, the tuition for summer 2026, fall 2026 and spring 2027 will be $13,750 per semester. The tuition rate for the next year, beginning summer 2027, will be determined with the annual update of tuition and fees.
    • For UE DE students who do not immediately progress into the graduate portion of the DPT program following completion of their undergraduate degree or fall out of progression, the student’s tuition rate will be determined based upon term of re-entry. Student will remain eligible for the Loyal Aces Graduate Scholarship.
  • Second-degree-seeking students entering the graduate-level DPT program in Summer 2026
    • Students who have completed a bachelor's degree at another university and are admitted into the graduate level of the DPT program in the summer of 2026, the tuition for summer 2026, fall 2026 and spring 2027 will be $13,750 per semester. The tuition rate for the next year, beginning summer 2027, will be determined with the annual update of tuition and fees.
    • Students are not eligible for UE scholarships but will have graduate-level federal loan eligibility available.
    • For students whose progression is delayed in the DPT program, the student’s tuition rate will be determined based on the term of re-entry.

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov including UE's school code (001795) to establish eligibility for graduate-level federal loans. Detailed information will be emailed prior to the summer term regarding FAFSA submission and utilization of loan funds.

  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan
  • Federal Graduate PLUS Loan*
    • *provided a federal loan is borrowed for this program prior to July 1, 2026.
  • Private Educational Loans
