Global Changemaker Challenge

The University of Evansville is proud to host the Global Changemaker Challenge, once again made possible by our generous partners at Toyota. Any high school sophomore, junior, or senior in the world can compete to win a four-year, full tuition scholarship to the University of Evansville by submitting their idea to make the world a better place. The competition will take place virtually on Friday, February 26, 2027.

Important Dates
- Monday, February 1, 2027 – Submissions Due
- Monday, February 8, 2027 – Top 10 announced
- Friday, February 26, 2027 – Final Virtual Pitch Competition
Eligibility
- Rising high school Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors
- Living 250+ miles away from the University of Evansville Campus
- Teams of up to 3 students per project
- All ideas are welcome, but priority will be given to projects that support one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Support
All participants will receive access to FREE training and support from UE faculty and staff mentors. Fill out our pre-registration form to receive regular updates. Competition
- Round 1: Each student submits their pitch through the website by February 1, 2027.
- Round 2: Top 10 students deliver a five-minute pitch LIVE to judges via Zoom on February 26, 2027.
Language
We encourage you to submit your videos and present in English.
Prizes
The winning students who choose UE as their college destination will receive the following scholarships*:

| 2nd place | $27,000 SCHOLARSHIP |
| 3rd place | $25,000 SCHOLARSHIP |
*Students eligible for more than one UE scholarship will receive the one of highest value.
†Students winning first place will not pay any tuition out of pocket for four years. Winners are required to live on campus as part of a cohort, remain consistently enrolled full-time each semester, maintain satisfactory academic progress toward their degree, and display progress toward fulfilling their Changemaker Challenge project goals. UE admission requirements apply.
