Health Professions Education is a program uniquely designed for working clinicians who desire to transition to higher education or those in faculty positions looking to expand their professional opportunities. This terminal degree equips individuals with the necessary skills to be effective educators who contribute to interdisciplinary research across the healthcare continuum.

Where Academic Rigor Meets Flexibility
The HPE program provides academic excellence through dual-core curriculum focused on teaching effectiveness and research methodology. Curriculum is designed for online delivery, offering flexibility for healthcare professionals who are continuing to work while in school.
Although the program can be completed in as little as 2.5 years, UE recognizes that not everyone wants to progress through the program this quickly. That’s why there is also added flexibility to choose a pace that best suits each individual.
