Welcome Week is a program designed to help new students transition to life at UE. The program includes informational sessions, entertainment, food, volunteer opportunities, and activities focused to build new relationships with other incoming students and the UE community. All new students arrive at the University four days before classes begin for this fun-filled event. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22. When you check in, you will be placed in a small group of new students with an OL as your guide. Together, you will attend events and activities that are designed to help you feel at home on campus. This program is required for all new students, so pre-registration is not required.

All incoming students are required to participate in Welcome Week. (Besides, it’s one of the most memorable UE bucket list items that you’ll remember for years to come!) Check-in for Welcome Week is between 4:00-6:00 p.m. CDT on Saturday, August 22. Meet your Orientation Leaders (OLs) at the Ridgway University Center for all the details!

Are you an incoming transfer or returning adult student who wants to participate in Welcome Week? We welcome and encourage all of our incoming students to join us! No registration is needed, all you have to do is show up!
