Transfer Planning Tools

For Community College Students and Advisors

UE wants to assist academic advisors and community college students as they plan for an eventual transfer to UE. Find helpful resources linked below and always know we’re just an email or phone call away to help guide you.

  • Search UE’s current catalog for general education and major requirements for programs of interest.

  • Utilize our transfer credit equivalency guide to search for courses that transfer to UE. Please know these are not the only classes that transfer; these are courses that have been evaluated so far. There can be more!

  • Find UE’s general education course options. The categories are listed as Outcomes 1 through 11. It’s possible to transfer Outcomes 2 through 10, but to be certain, it’s recommended you consult with us to confirm your course plans to be sure you’re on the right track. Some majors want students to complete certain courses to fulfill Outcomes. For example, most of our business majors need Introduction to Statistics (QM 227) for Outcome 7 Quantitative Literacy (mathematics category).

  • UE accepts the Indiana College Core (ICC) available through most high schools and many colleges in Indiana. It’s possible to complete the majority of UE’s general education requirements through earning the ICC distinction.

  • UE has forged transfer articulation agreements (transfer pathways) with several regional community colleges to help guide students as they plan for a future transfer to UE.
