Timeline for Entering Freshmen
Senior year of high school
Apply for admission and scholarships, preferably by our Early Action deadline of December 1. After Early Action, applications for admission will be accepted on a space-available basis. Contact the Office of Admission to schedule a campus visit if you have not already done so.
Starting October 1, 2018 through April 1, 2019
Submit the 2019-20 FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov to be considered for all forms of need-based aid, including federal, state and UE grants; federal loans; and federal work-study. In order for the University of Evansville to receive your FAFSA data, include UE’s school code 001795. For your financial aid to be prepared, we encourage students to submit their FAFSA by April 1. This ensures that Indiana residents will meet the strict April 15 deadline to be eligible to be considered for State of Indiana Grants.
When completing the FAFSA, be sure to select the appropriate FAFSA year as there are two years available.
- Students entering in spring or summer 2019: submit the 2018-19 FAFSA.
- Students entering in fall 2019: submit the 2019-20 FAFSA.
Beginning in January
Admitted students who have listed the University of Evansville on their FAFSA will receive a Financial Aid Packet, which will include a financial aid notification, and cost and payment information. Please visit Financial Aid Next Steps for information regarding finalizing your financial aid.
Throughout the spring of senior year
