The Institute for Global Enterprise is a campus-wide resource at the University of Evansville. The institute was created as part of UE's recognition of the value of a global mindset for students and for both profit and non-profit organizations.

For students, the institute ensures they experience international situations, challenges, and opportunities that prepare them to contribute and succeed in a global marketplace. Examples of institute initiatives include the development of international study programs, the GAP Program, and internships with companies that engage in international exchange.

The institute also serves as an innovative partner to global businesses and non-profits by engaging directly with a wide-array of organizations through the GAP Program. Students, under the direction of GAP coaches, work with organizational leaders to identify and solve real-world issues. Participating organizations benefit in many ways including fresh perspectives, international viewpoints, and gaining insight into the talents and abilities of UE’s soon-to-be graduates.

The Institute Speaker Series is another way in which value is brought to students and the wider community. This series brings world-renowned leaders as guest presenters to campus across a myriad of topics from business to social innovation.

The Institute for Global Enterprise is another example of the value that the University of Evansville places on broadened perspectives through a deeper understanding of the world.
