Greek Life

Each year, more than 29 percent of UE students participate in our active and engaged Greek Life program.

Each fraternity and sorority on the UE campus has its own distinct character, philanthropies, colors, and inter/nation histories, helping ensure every student who join can find a great “fit” that will yield the connections and lifelong friendships people expect to find in Greek life. But within those distinct organizations are five values shared by all of UE’s Greek community:

  • Scholarship
  • Leadership
  • Social
  • Community Service and Philanthropy
  • Lifelong Brotherhood/Sisterhood

Did You Know… Philanthropy is evident across UE’s campus. There are currently 12 fraternities and sororities on campus, each supporting their own philanthropic efforts. What does philanthropy mean to you?

Share the daily fact or why you love UE to your social media! Tag @UEAlumni to your public post and use #UEPepandVim #fortheAces!

Our commitment to these values – our 5 pillars of excellence – can be seen in the numerous events that UE’s Greek organizations host throughout the year. From recruitment to community service and philanthropic activities to dances and receptions, Greek Life students are among the most active on campus. They give more time and raise more philanthropic dollars than any other group on campus – and they shine in the classroom, as well.
