Domain Administrator

The University of Evansville is seeking an experienced Domain Administrator to manage and maintain the university’s domain, cloud infrastructure, and identity management systems. This full-time position is crucial to ensuring the security, performance, and availability of campus-wide solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Infrastructure Management: Administer the university’s domain and cloud-provided solutions, including authentication systems and identity management.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and enhance the performance of infrastructure systems and campus cloud infrastructure.

- Security & Compliance: Collaborate with the Director of Infrastructure to enforce access controls, ensuring compliance and improving the security of campus data.

- User Administration: Manage user identities, authentication, and access across campus systems.

 Technical Skills Required:

- PowerShell: Proficient in using PowerShell for scripting and automation.

- SQL: Ability to manage and query SQL databases.

- Microsoft 365: Experience managing an O365 Tenant.

- Active Directory & ADFS: Strong expertise in Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.

- Exchange Server: Experience managing Exchange for communication and collaboration services.

 Qualifications:

- Demonstrated expertise in identity management and infrastructure performance monitoring.

- Proven ability to improve availability and security of IT solutions in a campus environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
