Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indianainvites applications for a new, full-time, 10-month open track position for our Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Requirements for the position include a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Physiology, Motor Control and Rehabilitation Science, or a closely related specialty and licensure as a physical therapist or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Indiana. Preference will be given to candidates with clinical experience and an expertise in adult neuromuscular, pediatric or acute care physical therapy. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, scholarly activity, and service to the university, community, and profession. The Department of Physical Therapy has a long history at the university and has an outstanding reputation for educating high-quality physical therapy professionals for more than 35 years. Currently there are 9 full-time faculty members. The supportive nature of the region’s medical community provides ample opportunities for clinical practice and research collaboration.
