Senior Director of Marketing and Communications
The University of Evansville is accepting applications for the position of Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. This position will be responsible for developing marketing strategy, creating an integrated marketing communications plan, and managing the implementation of marketing tactics. This is an essential position that will interface with all areas of the university to ensure that we tell the university's story in a consistent and compelling manner through various platforms such as web, social media, print, news media, and more.
This position includes oversight of the web team, the publications team, content development, and university relations. Additionally, the person in this role will be responsible for the marketing budget and will manage marketing vendor relationships. This position will report directly to the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing.
Minimum requirements for the position include a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and 5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of strategic marketing and communications, the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and exceptional management skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who is willing to take risks and can empower people to make change.
