Student Loan Specialist
The University of Evansville Office of Student Financial Services has an immediate opening for a Financial Aid Counselor/Student Loan Specialist.
Qualified candidates will have earned a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum 3 to 5 years customer service experience. Talents must include strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and the entire campus community. This position requires the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Providing loan information and counseling borrowers on all aspects of student and/or parent loan options/requirements.
- Certifying and reconciling federal, state, private, and institutional loans and grants.
- Providing information to prospective and current students and their families in person and online regarding financial aid eligibility and renewal requirements.
- Updating Student Financial Services online information and printed materials.
