Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Evansville invites applications for a tenure-track position in Psychology. The ideal applicant will have an earned doctorate in psychology or a related field by August 15, 2024, with a focus on quantitative psychology and/or research methodology. Consideration will also be given to individuals from any area of psychology with experience in teaching statistics and research methods at the undergraduate and graduate levels and whose topic area can enhance the department’s current offerings. The University of Evansville offers BA and BS undergraduate psychology majors as well as a PsyD doctoral program in Clinical Psychology; this position would support each of those programs. The position would also assist with dissertation planning and analysis for the graduate program. In addition to statistics and research methods, the ideal candidate would be prepared to teach Introduction to Psychology and upper-level courses on a topic of the instructor’s preference.
