Music

UE's Department of Music offers five music degrees and a comprehensive curriculum.

Music Department Auditions

Auditions are required for entry into all music degree programs and for academic scholarship consideration.

Students who wish to major in music should apply for admission to the University and audition for music faculty.

Students who are not planning to major in music, but who are interested in participating in music ensembles may audition for an Ensemble Participation Grant.

Students may also schedule department visits to meet with music professors and observe classes and rehearsals. To schedule a visit, please contact the Department of Admissions Visit Specialist at 812-488-2460.

All auditions require advance registration. Please contact Linda Happe, Music Admissions Specialist to schedule an audition.
