Director of Media Relations
The University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for a Director of Media Relations. This position will serve as the primary sports information departmental contact for multiple sports.
Primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Design and edit publications and assist with other graphic design projects within the athletics department, using InDesign and Photoshop
- Assist in promoting UE Athletics and programs through social media platforms
- Update content on GoPurpleAces.com
- Develop strong relationships with local media, directs press box operations
A Bachelor’s degree is required as well as excellent writing skills, knowledge of sports, and knowledge of computers for design of publications, web site updates and in-game statistics.
The Director of Media Relations will perform all duties in compliance within University, NCAA and Missouri Valley Conference rules and regulations. The University of Evansville seeks a candidate whose experience will contribute to the University's commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
