Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator for the Office of the President

The University of Evansville Office of the President seeks and energetic, forward-thinking individual enthusiastic about an opportunity to contribute to the University's mission: "to empower each student to think critically, act bravely, serve responsibly, and live meaningfully in a changing world."  Supporting a new and dynamic administration, the successful candidate will be a collaborative partner pivotal in supporting the presidential initiatives that characterize creativity, innovation, and a higher standard that together reflect the motivation for institutional transformation.  

Serving as the first point of contact for the Office of the President, the Administrative Assistant and Events Coordinator will have the opportunity to work in an environment that conveys positivity and possibility and interact with institutionally significant and diverse on- and -off campus constituency groups.

Through planning of special events, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and influence celebratory events that are a hallmark of the 24th presidential administration.  Impromptu and planned events intentionally create moments of celebration and achievement-individually, for groups, or institutionally-to mark powerful moments in the life of the University.

Bachelor’s degree with administrative experience in executive suite preferred.  In addition to a creative, innovative spirit, the successful candidate must have an essential understanding of professional protocols as it relates to the fundamentals of confidentiality, integrity, discretion, and trust.  Strong interpersonal skills and organizational and time-management competencies are required.
