Associate Athletics Director, Revenue Generation and Engagement

Under administrator review of the University director of athletics, develop and execute strategies for revenue generation, foster relationships with constituents, and a member of the Director of Athletics’ executive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue through ticket sales in the sports of men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer.
  • Management of ticket sales to generate new revenue and service existing accounts.
  • Create and execute customer retention strategies.
  • Lead all department group ticket sales.
  • Create an annual ticket sales metrics and set lofty goals.
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures. Provide updates to Director of Athletics and Executive Staff.
  • Assist with identifying and staffing local community events throughout the year.
  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales.
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments, and networking events to sell season tickets, partial plans and group ticket plans.
  • Work all home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game.
  • Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
  • Could include future Sport Supervision within the Athletics Department.
  • Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree is preferred.  Three years of Collegiate Athletics Experience within a Division I Athletics Department is preferred.
