Schroeder Hall Values and Vision

Schroeder Hall is a place where diverse experiences come together to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Here, students are encouraged to lead with empathy, express themselves boldly, and celebrate each other's wins on the field, in the classroom, and beyond. Our community challenges residents to grow outside their comfort zones and equips them with the tools to navigate life with confidence, compassion, and purpose.

Schroeder Residence Hall, located on Walnut Street near Carson Center, was named after Life Trustee John H. Schroeder. In addition to serving as a second home for students, Schroeder Hall also houses the state-of-the-art Esports Center. Open gaming is held at least once per week, and students can join in on the community and entertainment.

The shared spaces of Schroeder Hall include a full kitchen; laundry room; and large game room featuring billiards, snooker, ping-pong, and foosball. Corner lounges on each floor offer social and study space. Wood vinyl flooring was installed in 2023.

Each floor has a male or female designation. All rooms are furnished and include twin beds, two wardrobes, four stackable dressers, and two desks and chairs. On the first floor, there is one bathroom per 33 residents. The other floors have one bathroom per 41 residents.
