Assistant Professor of Chemistry

Assistant Professor of Chemistry: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Evansville invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in physical chemistry, or a closely related field. The position will be at the rank of assistant professor and may be renewed indefinitely. Expected teaching duties include physical chemistry and introductory courses as well as possible offerings in the applicant’s area of expertise. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will have a dedicated office and access to shared research facilities and equipment. A completed Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is preferred.

The position will be available beginning August 1, 2024. Review of applicants will begin November 1, 2023 and continue until the position is filled.
