Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:

Maintenance and repair of university buildings and associated infrastructure, and installed equipment and specialties.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems 
• Maintenance of environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) within assigned parameters using appropriate controls
• Maintenance and repair of internal and external structural and building envelope components in assigned facilities
• Maintenance and repair of miscellaneous capital equipment and furniture
• Maintenance and repair of specialized installed equipment 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and carpenter trades
• Working knowledge of standard tools of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC and carpenter trades
• Knowledge of HVAC controls
• Working knowledge of structural component and building envelope maintenance and repair practices
