Administrative Associate for the Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences

The Administrative Associate provides professional level assistance to the Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences.  The position provides oversight to the operations of the Dean’s office.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as an office manager and receptionist, and providing clerical support to the Dean in order to assist the college in running effectively and efficiently.  Additional duties include managing the Dean’s calendar, maintaining and monitoring budgets, assisting with the creation of department reports and accreditation activities, assisting faculty, students, and visitors with day to day operations, maintaining College records, and oversight of documents entering and leaving the office.  This position is also the direct supervisor for any work study students.

Minimum requirements for the position include a high school diploma and two years of experience as an administrative assistant.  Strong technology skills, exceptional time management, communication and organizational skills are a must.  Individuals should possess the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time.
