Operations Coordinator for the Dunigan Family School of Nursing
The Operations Coordinator for the Dunigan Family School of Nursing provides professional executive level assistance to the Nursing Chair. The position oversees all operations for the Dunigan Family School of Nursing. While working closely with the department chair, the primary responsibilities include (but not limited to); participating in recruiting students to the Dunigan Family School of Nursing, advising students, assisting with accreditation and assessment, department budget, and event planning (Purple visits, Direct Entry Day, Pinning Ceremony, Road Trip, graduation, etc.). The position coordinates the British Nursing Student Program, finding placements, and coordinating transportation, housing, meals and social events. This position provides leadership for the department including managing external communications, the department’s website, social media, and the development and dissemination of newsletters. The individual serves as an advocate and contributing member of the team and assists in maintaining a successful and thriving nursing program. This position also is the first line direct supervisor for any student workers.
Minimum requirements for the position include a bachelor’s degree in business management or related field. Strong technology skills, exceptional time management skills, an understanding of task-tracking and project management approaches and exceptional communication skills are a must.
