Sydney McClary is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as the Ace CARE Coordinator. Originally from Newburgh, IN, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lipscomb University in 2023. Since joining the DPT program, Sydney has been involved in Ace CARE, where she applies classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, building her skills in patient care and community service. Passionate about serving underserved populations, she has developed a strong interest in outpatient neuro rehabilitation and aspires to start her own practice one day.

Hannah Walker, SPT

Hannah Walker is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as the Ace+PT Co-Coordinator Referral Source. She is from Florence, KY and graduated from the University of Evansville in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Spanish. Hannah began volunteering with AceCARE her first semester of PT school and fell in love with giving back to the Evansville community. Ace+PT has allowed her to combine her language and patient care skills to serve the Spanish-speaking community and build meaningful relationships with these patients. Hannah has developed a passion for neurological rehabilitation and hopes to work in this setting upon graduation.

Cheyenne Summerfield, SPT

Cheyenne Summerfield is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as the Ace+PT Co-Coordinator Client Advocate. She is from West Salem, IL, and graduated from the University of Evansville in 2023. Since her undergraduate studies, she has been active in Ace CARE, especially the Ace +PT clinic, and she enjoys volunteering to learn more and give back to the community. After graduation, Cheyenne is planning to work in an outpatient ortho setting near her hometown in Fairfield, Illinois.

Colby Rogers, SPT

Colby Rogers is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as a ACErcise Co-Coordinator. She is from Haubstadt, IN and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Bellarmine University in 2022. Colby began volunteering with Ace CARE her first semester of graduate school and fell in love with serving the Evansville community right off the bat. ACErcise has helped Colby discover her passion of working with patients who have neurological diagnoses. She has found the task of creating tailored exercise plans for each participant very enjoyable and loves being able to implement lectures into real world scenarios. Colby has always loved the social aspect of physical therapy and being able to connect with participants and volunteers is one of her favorite things to do each week. Colby is excited to continue spreading awareness for this population and create a fun atmosphere for students and participants to thrive.

Conner Roche, SPT
ACErcise Co-Coordinator

Conner Roche is in his second year of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at the University of Evansville and is currently a Co-Coordinator for ACErcise. Conner grew up in Cincinnati, OH and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences in 2021. Before beginning the DPT program, Conner worked at a Post-Acute Care Hospital for neurologic and medically complex patients, which helped him discover a passion for working with these patient populations. Conner enjoys sharing the knowledge he gained from these experiences with the volunteers and participants at ACErcise. His favorite part of serving as a co-coordinator is the challenge of developing adaptable exercises for all the participants and cheering them on as they conquer their goals.

Payton Reichensperger, SPT

Payton Reichensperger is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the AceBuddies Coordinator. Originally from Springfield, IL, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Dance Performance from Illinois State University in 2022. Payton began volunteering with Ace CARE within her first year of graduate school and has since loved giving back to the Evansville community. Applying lecture-based material to tailor exercise plans, as well as engaging with participants is one of her favorite things to do each week. Upon graduation, Payton is interested in working in either pediatrics or orthopedics with an emphasis on dancers.

Elise Deeg is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the AceBuddies Assistant Coordinator. Originally from Evansville, IN, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2023 from the University of Evansville. Elise enjoys giving back to her community and making connections with participants by volunteering with ACErcise and AceBuddies. Being able to provide services and apply techniques and material that she learned in the classroom is one of the many reasons she loves Ace CARE. Upon graduation, Elise would like to pursue a career in either pediatrics or outpatient orthopedics.

Luke Watts is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the AceBuddies Operations Coordinator. Originally from Austin, IN, he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2024 from the University of Evansville. Luke enjoys helping members of the Evansville community while practicing skills learned in the classroom by volunteering with Ace CARE. Upon graduation, Luke would like to work in an outpatient orthopedic setting near his hometown and eventually open his own clinic, with a focus on an athletic population.

Kristen Harvey is the current Student Relations Officer. She is from Decatur, IN and graduated from the University of Evansville with a bachelor's in Exercise Science in 2023. Kristen enjoys applying the skills learned in class to real life scenarios through the different Ace CARE branches. She believes it’s a great opportunity to get hands-on experience while simultaneously giving back to the Evansville community. After earning her DPT, Kristen would like to work in either sports or orthopedics!

Reeva Hammelman, SPT

Reeva Hammelman is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the Media Coordinator. She is originally from Edwardsport, IN and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Health Sciences from Kentucky Wesleyan College. Reeva has enjoyed being involved in all branches of Ace CARE and spreading awareness of the organization through its social media pages. She is passionate about improving healthcare in rural communities and hopes to give back to her community after graduation by working near her hometown.

Kyle Billhartz is a second year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as the Compliance Coordinator. He is from New Baden, IL and received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville. He currently volunteers with Ace+PT and ACErcise and loves working with the diverse population Ace CARE serves while also practicing his physical therapy skills. Kyle would like to work in an outpatient setting with a focus on rehabilitating athletes back to play the sports they love.

She is from Kendallville, IN and received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville. She currently volunteers in all three branches of Ace CARE and thoroughly enjoys working with the various patient populations. After graduation, Tressa would like to work in the acute care setting near her hometown.

Cecelia Ritter is a second-year DPT student at the University of Evansville. She currently serves as the Ace CARE Budget Coordinator. Cecelia is originally from Ramsey, Illinois, and obtained her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Since beginning PT school in 2023, Cecelia has volunteered in all three branches of Ace CARE and enjoys applying her classroom knowledge to hands-on experiences. After graduation, Cecelia plans to pursue a career in outpatient orthopedics.

Max Budowsky is a second year DPT student at the University of Evansville and serves as the Licensed Volunteer Relations Officer. Max is from Pompton Plains, NJ and received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from UE. Since starting PT school, Max has participated in ACErcise and AceBuddies; he loves seeing the participants challenge themselves while having a great time. After graduation, Max plans to work in either inpatient neuro rehab or home health.

Megan Ghrist is a second year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as one of the Fundraising Co-Coordinators. Megan is from Mount Vernon, IN and received her bachelor’s degree in applied health and wellness from Oakland City University. She has been involved in all 3 branches of Ace CARE since she started attending UE. Megan loves seeing the difference that Ace CARE makes in the lives of the community members who attend. She is also able to apply what she learns in class to real-life situations at Ace CARE. Megan is interested in working in neurological rehabilitation or acute care. She loves being on the Ace CARE board and raising money for such an incredible organization.

Sara Budd is a 2nd year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as a Fundraising Co-Coordinator. She is originally from Brownsburg, Indiana and received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville. Since beginning the DPT program Sara has enjoyed working in the ACErcise branch along with AceBuddies where she can apply her classroom knowledge to these different experiences. She looks forward to fundraising for AceCARE and helping support this program.

Mackenzie Carter is a first-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and serves as the First Year Representative. She is from Fishers, IN, and will be graduating with a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville in 2025. Throughout her time at UE, she has volunteered with Ace CARE and enjoys the opportunity to serve and learn from the community. After graduation, Mackenzie is interested in working in either pediatrics or orthopedics.
