Marah Wood is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the Ace CARE Coordinator. Originally from Brownsburg, IN, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2024 from the University of Evansville. Marah enjoys giving back to the underserved community by volunteering in AceBuddies, ACErcise, and Ace+PT. Being able to apply information and techniques through real patient care while creating lasting relationships are some of the reasons she loves Ace CARE. Upon graduation, Marah would like to pursue a sports residency to work with an athletic population with the hopes to open up her own clinic one day!

Emily Nichols is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the AceBuddies Operations Coordinator. Originally from Fishers, IN, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2025 from the University of Evansville. Emily loves to volunteer in ACErcise and AceBuddies, challenging her participants with things learned in the classroom while building deeper connections with them and their families. AceCARE offers opportunities to serve others and build her confidence as a clinician. Emily is currently interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics!

Claire Reiman is a second-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as Compliance Coordinator and Licensed Volunteer Relations Officer. Originally from Morton, IL, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2025 from the University of Evansville. Claire is passionate about giving back to the Evansville community and building meaningful connections with participants through her volunteering with all branches of Ace CARE. She values the opportunity to provide services, engage in community outreach, and apply techniques gained in the classroom to real-world situations. Upon graduation, Claire hopes to pursue a career in either pediatric physical therapy or outpatient orthopedics!

Kinsey Vergason is a first year Doctor of Physical Therapy  (DPT) student at the University of Evansville and currently serves as the First Year DPT Student Representative. Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from McKendree University in 2025. Kinsey enjoys connecting with members of our community through volunteering with AceBuddies, ACErcise, and Ace+PT. She loves having the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community all while refining and applying skills learned in the classroom. Upon graduation Kinsey hopes to pursue an orthopedic residency and work in an outpatient orthopedic setting!
