Some of my favorite things about UE are the small campus, the opportunity to study abroad in Harlaxton, and the overwhelming sense of community.
The Changelab program showed me how to fearlessly approach any type of project and effectively use the available resources to complete it.
UE showed me that Environmental Science is a great degree that leads to wonderful jobs.
Do things outside of your comfort zone. Join a new club, study and talk to other students you may not know…you will be surprised by how much you learn by doing these things.
Adapting to certain cultural differences has been one of the challenges that I have experienced.
The most rewarding experience was that we were able to see what Cuba is really like and experience their culture first hand.
While fostering my real-world skills, Changelab also reinvigorated my passion to get involved in the community and tackle prevalent social issues.
Don’t be afraid, dive in, and leave every notion of what you think will happen behind you.
The professors were always available to help students bridge the gap between theory and assignments.

This organization prepared me well beyond my academic knowledge, and allowed me to fall in love with a population I previously did not think I would work with.
The connections I had made while at UE and completing the sports residency helped connect me with my first job in the sports world at EXOS/Athletes' Performance.
